We sell GRANDMA in three different versions. Here's what you need to know about each one to decide which one is best for you.
GRANDMA ONLINE ($20 for two-year subscription)
- The simplest version of GRANDMA to use, and for that reason we recomend it to customers who are uncertain about their computer skills.
- A web-based interface. It does not require you to download any software or data to your own computer.
- May be the best option for Macintosh users, since there is no Mac-compatible version of Brother's Keeper (Click here for more information about using GRANDMA with a Mac).
- Contains names of living people, but no date or place information about them.
- Fewer reporting features than the CD version.
- Updated more often than the CD version (every few months as opposed to every few years).
CD WITH REGISTERED COPY OF BROTHER'S KEEPER ($75 plus S/H)
- Requires users to install Brother's Keeper software on their computer, and then to install the GRANDMA data into Brother's Keeper.
- Includes cost of one-time registration fee for Brother's Keeper (Click here for more information about BK registration).
- Comes with a complete printed manual describing all features of Brother's Keeper.
CD WITH UNREGISTERED COPY OF BROTHER'S KEEPER ($30 plus S/H)
- Assumes that users will install Brother's Keeper software on their computer, and then install the GRANDMA data into Brother's Keeper.
- Includes an unregistered (but functional) shareware copy of Brother's Keeper (Click here for more information about BK registration).
- Includes a gedcom copy of the GRANDMA data if you wish to run it with a different genealogy program (Click here for more information on compatibility with other programs).
