Annual Meeting Information


Summary of 1996 Meeting

The 1996 Annual Meeting took place on April 20 at the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary in Fresno, California. To begin the event, Alan Peters led an afternoon genealogy workshop in the Center for Mennonite Brethren Studies. About twenty persons attended the workshop, at which Alan spoke on genealogical research in the Molotschna Colony. He focused particularly on information available in the 1835 census of that colony.

Following dinner in the Seminary's British Columbia Lounge, the Historical Society conducted a brief annual business meeting. The following reports were presented:
